christmas in july, august 6, 2006, acrylic on cold press, 15"x20", unfinished. i was watching the Today show last month and the crew gave a disease-stricken kid a car for his birthday. i couldn't paint a car, but what xmas in july means to me is basically this... literally a hot day with snow.
