so far, may is turning out to be one of the best months ever. this past week is especially going down in my memory bank as one of the best weeks ever!

sunday: still at vegas! cindy brought us to harrah's outdoor bar where we had one of the best sex on the beaches 1/2 yards. stopped by o'sheas where i watched my friends gamble the little money they had left (the JET $40 cover really killed my hunger to gamble on sunday). ron taught me how to play craps, which by the way, this time i understood and still remember to this day how to play it. beat that my short term memory! after o'sheas, crawled over to margaritaville where jon bought a round of pina coladas! woo-hoo! it was the best! i was craving one the whole time i was in vegas because i kept smelling coconut everywhere (found out pam carried a travel size coconut smelling lotion). sipping on the pina colada and heading over to caesar's palace to watch the grand statues was the last thing i remembered enjoying before i got weary and lethargic. i spent a good half hour or was it an hour (?) power nap in la salsa at caesar's. now fast forward to waking up and heading over to circus circus where i ate the best #1 meal at mcdonalds.

monday: flight was not delayed! yay! i arrived at work on time and not as tired as i thought i wouldve been. got all my shit done and spent a 1 1/2 hour lunch with erin and scott. ooh scott... foreshadow for now! anyhow, it was a terrific hot sunny san diego day and at the end of the day, finally got the rest my body was longing for.

tuesday: highlight of the day was probably finally getting a new case for my phone (it's pretty) and watching spiderman 3 on imax at mira mesa. i still enjoyed the movie despite the corny parts and totally having to tolerate close-ups of kirsten dunst's fugliness. fantastic movie! i'm ready for f4, pirates, transformers, and ocean's 13.

wednesday: easy day at work. went to work in a dress and sat out in the sun midday to soak up another splendid day in sd. it was hot but breezy and i loved it! i should really spend some time at the beach and get some leisure reading done. felt too lazy to run the wednesday 5k but forced myself to go and ran it faster than i had before. i'm still the slowest of my coworkers, but i finished at around 28 mins which i thought was awesome. afterwards, carbo-loaded at o'briens like usual.

thursday: these are like my fridays... i checked my email at work and found out i won two tickets to 93.3's your show 8, ipod nano, and chicblvd ear buds! i've been having a lucky streak lately and i love it! okay, i'll skip the work bullshit this time and flash forward to the exciting evening gala extravaganza. my coworker, scott, treated me out to dinner at some hole-in-the-wall mexican restaurant in OB. the food there was a mixture of fast food mexican and otmc. i ordered a carne asada burrito that was a bit different from all the carne asada burritos i've had before. this one had red bell peppers and it totally added that extra zing to it. drink number one for the night was a large glass of margarita. after a fun dinner, scott and i met up with everyone at brick by brick to watch sentinel. downed drink number two and three of hefs while listening to fantastic metal music. totally am a fan of the band's marky-mark-in-rockstar-singer! after the short set the rest of the gang headed home but i continued my thursday night with scott at some bar in OB. met his friends and roommate and more drinking ensued, drink number four and five conquered! after that... wasted.

friday: got to work hung over, hungry, and thirsty the first few hours of the day. i literally was thinking and working slow that i was borderline retarded. went to my work's closet sale (kinda like the vogue closet but we only have athletic clothes and shoes) where they sold everything under $20. bought a bunch of shit i don't need for $30, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 running tops, and 3 pairs of new shoes. thee best bargain ever! i got to leave work early to get home and change and get to the show on time. our seats weren't as close as i had assumed, but damn, they were free! bev and i only stayed for four acts, robin thicke, ciara, frankie j with first class fiction, and some early ludacris. by the time luda came on, i was freezing my ass off and was ready to bizounce outta there. we missed fergie and paula deandradana whatever. oh well. met some crazy old lady, as we were exiting coors, who was totally fugly and bizarre and continued to pester us about hilary duff. oh by the way, duff cancelled due to symptoms of the flu... yah... right. bev and i grabbed some dinner at jitb and ate our shit at j music! we sang all the hard ass xtina songs for a good hour (only $25/hr/room) and ended the night adventure there. will mos def do that again some time!

saturday: beer olympics.
