starstruck: i was so sleepy coming into work. i made my usual dash to starbucks at horton, but today was not so usual. i ran into the 5-7am nbc news team. i swung the door open for kimberly king, bill menish, and the gang. they smiled at me and said, "good morning... oh why, thank you!" as a gentleman (as i quickly learned), bill menish grabbed the door handle. our hands touched(hehe!) and returned the favor by holding the door open for me. tee-hee! even though they're just local news reporters, their stars to me. i think i've met half of the nbc morning news team. the similarities between marianne, kimberly, and bill (yes, i'm in first name basis with them now) are that they love jamba juice, starbucks, and they're all thin and short in person. the camera eye is so deceiving!

movie reviews_

in good company
starring: topher grace, dennis quaid, and scarlett johanssen
a very entertaining movie with a great cast, but not satisfying to the happy-ending-expector... like me. as a young successful salesman, topher grace delivered a charming performance with a more than perfect role for his acting capability. the ending of the movie was full of false hopes. the romantic relationship between topher and scarlett were not reconciled nor were there any signs of it to be reconciled at the end. overall, since topher and scarlett didn't get together, i give it a lower rating. i give it 3 stars.

tom cruise was hot in this movie
a few good men
starring: tom cruise, demi moore, jack nicholson, kevin bacon, and kiefer sutherland
after seeing this movie, it stirred up even more jealous thoughts towards katie holmes! she is so damn lucky to be with this man! he's a great actor with a superb resume, and all you can want in a down to earth hollywood actor. and what has she done? dawson's creek and some indie movies. she's cool and all, but i still see her as joey potter, the poor smart girl with a crooked smile who chose pacey over dawson. ugh. ok, anyway, i've gone off track. this is supposed to be a short movie review not a katie holmes hateration note. sorry. back to a few good men... it was a powerful movie full of anticipation. whenever tom cruise delivered his points to the jury, i wanted to stand up and just yell, "that's right!" in front of kevin bacon's face. i recommend this movie to all tabloid-reading fiends... like me. i swear, you'll hate katie holmes with a passion! did you know her dreams might come true and actually marry her tiger beat crush?! she's so lucky! =( but no really, this movie goes on my fav list. i give it 4 stars.
