movie review:

the horror! i give it a thumbs up for spooking the sheet out of me! the anticipation and flashes of morbid ghosts meshed very well to create a successful dramatic overview of the 28 terrifying days in the dutch colonial home. i felt the lives of the family were put in danger by the naive wife. she was responsible for everything! it seemed as though the universal message the director tried to convey was a lash against nagging housewives with cavalier husbands. the signs were everywhere! she was warned about the catch... nevertheless, the wife looked past it and grasped for the image of a perfect family with the perfect house. bad choice!
