saying good-byes: today were the last lectures for my vis arts classes. i really enjoyed the new friends i've made, especially my vis111 and vis174 classes. they introduced me to facebook.com and changed my perception on ucsd social life. i'll miss the fun times running around campus taping our weird video documentaries for vis111. i'll miss the way people grimaced and rolled their eyes at us during our public projects. i'll miss talking schmack about our weird TA. i'll see them around campus... but it won't be the same. =( *sigh*

short#8: i had an appointment with my vis174 prof this afternoon to discuss my final project and grades from my previous shorts. out of curiosity, i immediately asked her what grade she gave me for my short#8. damn, i got an A on that video. i was in disbelief. i thought i was just going to get an average B or C on it... but she explained to me again that because it intrigued her, caused a controversy during my critique, and realized that i learned something from it... it was a risk worth trying and executed well. my current status in that class: A. of course, i can only maintain that grade if i produce an A final video. so my cast and crew: bev, ron, melin, and maybe louray... thanks a bunch for volunteering to help me with my final. it's going to be the bizomb!

love/hate relationship: im a sucker for reality shows. i hate how i'm addicted to them, but i love the sense of satisfaction i get from the participants' humiliation. i've recently been watching the starlet, the contender, the apprentice, and american idol. sure... it's almost finals week.. but dude, i gotta watch my shows! the contender has blown me away! and i agree with howard stern in saying this, it's the best reality show ever created!
