im at work again... on a friday... grumpy and sleepy. im so stupid, gad! everyone at work asked for a day off today to extend their labor day weekend. why didn't i think of that?! and why was everyone at work shady enough to misinform me about this smart idea?! ehhhh... it's not that bad though. im so spoiled at work. basically, im free to do whatever, wander wherever, and talk to whomever. and oh, gotta love the paid holidays and sick leave! =) the government's not so bad after all.

tonight: im going to start my weekend off by attending my work's cocktail party for the very first time. im usually mia with work-related functions, but this time, i will be present, i promise. hmmm, after the cocktail party, going to hangout with my too-busy-to-hangout-nowadays buddies for a dinner and a movie. oooh, going to watch vanity fair this weekend and wicker park tonight. man, it better be a good movie, or i'll be pissed.

upcoming weekend: saturday - aztec football at the Q. thanks for the tix mon! =) now i won't have to spend a lonely depressing saturday night. sunday - oooh trampoline party! i haven't been to one for more than a year! aww, i miss those crazy jumping times. hopefully, i won't get sick and yack.

yesterday: watched the documentary, uncovered: the war on iraq, at ken cinemas. what's different about this documentary about the war on iraq compared to the other documentaries about the same subject is that the director, robert greenwald, actually interviewed powerful men working in the system: cia, nsa, dod, doe, and the white house. the main point about it was that the bush administration effed up. the war on iraq/terrorism was rushed on false information and forged documents recieved from ambiguous outside sources. and what about the weapons of mass destruction? we were all fooled! there never were any nuclear weapons aimed straight at our homeland. david kay, the lead weapons inspector admitted that bush and his people were wrong. they were chasing a lead based on false assumptions. all the intel the white house received was immorally fixed just so the congress would back their decision to attack iraq. what were they thinking?! they fooled themselves, attacked innocent civilians, lost our trust, and blackened our reputation amongst our allies. good one!

tango maureen: i hope i remember to buy tix for stephen lynch & mitch hedberg show. OH! rent's finally here! omg, i hope i go!

i wish...
- i cooked "real meals" more often (rice and ramen don't count)
- i could run 3 miles without panting so hard afterwards
- i weren't sick
- i had won the $99 mil lottery! ugh!
- i only worked once a week
