july is officially over, which means, summer is coming to a close. we celebrated its closure by watching a japanese horror flick, ju-on, and drinking it up with "ucsd uptights." ju-on was disappointing! never again will we watch the original japanese flicks of upcoming japanese-horror-based films. ringu sucked, and so did ju-on. compare ringu to the american version, the ring. which was scarier? dude, no competition. the ring was waaaaaaaaay better because american directors and producers know what scary movies should consist of. basically, they know what the audience wants, and what will spook the audience.
as for august, *cheers* im hoping for a great august full of wild and crazy fun.
btw, the village sucked. it was filmed creatively, but the story lagged! m. night shyalaman will never create another sixth sense. dammit! i was soooo anxious to see this movie too! i shouldve watched harold and kumar godammit!
alias, season 1 update: rumbaldi was a man of the future who saw the future and sydney bristow 500 years ago.
