alias: season 1 ended on a mediocre cliffhanger. it wasn't as badass as 24's season 1 cliffhanger when david palmer (the first black president of the u.s.) confronted his backstabbing, deceitful wife and promised to shun her out of his life... FOR GOOD (gasp!)... and when the mole of the Counter Terrorist Unit was none other than the 2nd in line to the director, nina meyers, the woman jack had an affair with (gasp!), who shot and killed jack's (kiefer sutherland) wife -- (pregnant with their 2nd child and kept as a secret until the doctor broke the news of his wife's and their unborn child's death), minutes before she tried to escape from the building (gasp!). and just 24 hours earlier, jack and his wife finished moving back in together, from their year-long separation, to live as a family.
