oh my goodness. i was watching wb's superstar (american-idol-ish) hoax show last nigh -- where the untalented are tricked into believing they really do have talent to make it in the music industry as a superstar. oh geez! what a sick joke! even though i laughed the whole time i was watching it, i still believe it's a really really cruel joke. it's like...

telling someone they've won the oscar, and then right when they get to the podium to accept the award, the person handing it to them snatches it back and yaks, "just kidding!" and makes an L on his forehead. the audience then roars in laughter and points. muaha ha ha ha haaa! and then the person being tricked pees in his pants and tries to run to the back stage but slips on his own pee which had bled all over the stage floor. to make matters worse, he crawls to safety and freakin conan o'brien is backstage and interviews the person still on the floor. mortified, the pee-er bundles up into a ball and starts to hum to themself.

...yah, sorta like that.
